Back to Basics
Our first tutorial DVD covering all aspects of using a basic Avio Editor. Ideal for the beginner or as a refresher course. This DVD was made in Casablanca V1 operating system but the concepts are the same regardless of the operating system used. Splitting, Trimming, adding transitions and effects, titling and audio record/mixing is explained in detail.

The Next Step
As the title would suggest, this DVD is a follow on from Back to Basics, and explores the more advanced features available with AvioPro software, Prestige, Kron and Solitaire. SmartEdit is the operating system used and includes Auto Split, Audio Scrub, Insert Edit, Multi-layering (Scene function) Archiving, Blue Box, Audio Mixing including Rubberbanding etc.

Tips & Tricks Vol 1 This is the first volume in a series of “How to” DVD’s created by Macrosystem US in-house editing guru Scott “Birdy” Vicek. Casablanca Tips & Tricks features 2 hours of fun and informative step by step editing tips and tricks used by Birdy in the creation of Casablanca commercials and videos.
Volume I focuses on using and combining Blue Box World, Magic Lights and Effects Pack 5. Birdy’s editing tips will have you creating your best projects ever......and if you have not purchased these programs, you can still experiment with them in “demo” mode.

Tips & Tricks Vol 2 focuses on DVD authoring and creating custom DVD backgrounds using other programs such as BlueBox World, Picture-In-Picture, Motion 3D, Split-X Images, 3D Shapes and Effects Pack 8. You will soon be creating your best menus ever! Video footage is included to edit right along with Birdy as he shows you how to create DVD menus you never thought possible!
During the process of producing the Arabesk menu Birdy makes extensive use of the “Scene” function (multi-layering) and also Blue Box World and Picture in Picture Studio. This is an ideal opportunity for those who have not appreciated the power of these programs.

Tips & Tricks Vol 3 is of particular interest to Wedding & Event videographers but the techniques featured can also be used in many other situations. Birdy uses a combination of PiP Studio, Motion Perfect, Filter Pack and Border X along with many standard effects, and even demonstrates Editing to the Beat. If you don't have some of the software featured they can be installed in demo format from software CD's or SmartMedia cards. As with Vols 1 and 2, Birdy has included some footage used in the demonstrations on the DVD to enable users to work along with him.

Tips & Tricks Vol 4 uses a range software packages including Picture-In- Picture (PIP), FilterPack, Effect Pack 7, Akaba, BlueBox World, Motion Perfect and some standard effects to create stunning sequences and special effects that you never thought possible. Volume 4 also features a few custom masks created by Birdy to get your creative juices flowing.
