Our first tutorial DVD covering all aspects of using abasic Avio Editor. Ideal forthe beginner or as a refresher course. This DVD was made in Casablanca V1 operating system but the concepts are the same regardless of the operating system used. Splitting, Trimming, adding transitions and effects, titling and audio record/mixing is explained in detail.

The Next Step

As the title would suggest, this DVD is a follow on from Back to Basics, and ex-plores the more advanced features available with AvioPro software, Prestige, Kron and Solitaire. SmartEdit is the operating system used and includes Auto Split, Audio Scrub, Insert Edit, Multi-layering (Scene function) Archiving, Blue Box, Audio Mixing including Rubberbanding etc.

series do exactly that. Ideas and how to produce them which can

be adapted to suit all kinds of projects.

Tips & Tricks Vol 1

Volume I focuses on using and combining Blue Box World, Magic Lights and Effects Pack 5. If you have not purchased these programs, you can still experiment with them in “demo” mode.

Tips & Tricks Vol 3

is of particular interest to Wedding & Event videographers but the techniques featured can also be used in many other situations. Birdy uses a combination of PiP Studio, Motion Perfect, Filter Pack and Border X along with many standard effects, and even demonstrates Editing to the Beat. If you don't have some of the software featured they can be installed in demo format from software CD's or SmartMedia cards. As with Vols 1 and 2, some footage used in the demonstrations is included on the DVD.

Tips & Tricks Vol 4

uses a range software packages including Picture-in- Picture (PIP), FilterPack, Effect Pack 7, Akaba, BlueBox World, Motion Perfect and some standard effects to create stunning sequences and special effects that you never thought possible. Volume 4 also features a few custom masks to get your creative juices flowing.

Tips & Tricks Vol 2 focuses on DVD authoring and creating custom DVD backgrounds using other programs such as Blue Box World, Picture in Picture Studio, Motion 3D, Split X Images, 3D Shapes and Effects pack 8.

Extensive use is made of the “Scene” function (multi-layering) and also Chroma keying (Blue Box World). This is an ideal opportunity to discover the power of these products.
