Casablanca S-
Please note: If you do not own the “Pro Pack“, please evaluate the new feature set provided by the “Silver Edition“ before you update to Bogart 4.3. You will get many features previously only available for “Pro Option” users, but there are also several features that used to be “Basic“, but now are a part of the “Gold Edition“.
The new “Gold Edition“ contains significantly more functions than the old “Pro Option“
and includes all the functions within the “Silver Edition”. The new feature set matrix
also affects the “Arabesk” software – depending on the “Edition” of Bogart, “Arabesk”
will have differences in the feature set too. If you have activated neither “Silver”
nor “Gold”, you work with the “Basic” Edition, the factory condition of the new Casablanca
SL-

More than 10 years of continuous updates have added lots of features to the Casablanca editing system, much to the delight of the experienced Casablanca “expert” user. But the additional functions also increased the complexity of the system. Many new users and also people that don’t use their units very often are getting confused by all of the new buttons and options. Casablanca lost the “out of the box” ease of use.
In order to bring these important qualities back, we have decided to redefine the “basic” and “pro” editing modes. Starting
with Bogart 4.3, the former “Pro Pack” is now replaced with the “Gold Edition”. Owners
